    I agree with you that all toddlers love to use all colors on whatever surface they can reach to and use the colors as much as they like as well. I think different items need different treatment to remove them so there can't be a hard and fast rule for getting rid of them. I am sure we do our best to clean all the stains as soon as possible which makes it a bit easier otherwise if the stains stay there for a longer time they become more time consuming.

    Our 5-year old granddaughter who started to write and love to use the crayons is always running out of paper and bond paper for her writing and coloring practice.

    One time we failed to provide her writing and coloring supplies. She made use of our white wall as her canvas and writing pad. It's good pencil mark is easy to remove but crayons are tough to remove. We scraped the wall and repainted it.

    we usually buy new ones. these are beyond saving
